Bhubaneswar: In a significant anti-Maoist operation, the Kandhamal District Voluntary Force (DVF), a special constabulary unit of the Odisha Police, recovered a large cache of Maoist materials from Pangurmila village under Baliguda police station limits in Kandhamal district on Sunday.

During a routine combing operation, the DVF team discovered a concealed dump believed to have been abandoned by Maoist cadres. The recovered items included explosives, weapons, and essential supplies, indicating that the site may have been used as a temporary hideout.
