New Delhi, Nov 16: Tension and anxiety gripped passengers aboard the Nizamuddin-bound Shridham Express on Sunday after railway authorities received an alarming message claiming that a bomb had been planted in one of the train’s general coaches.
According to sources, the alert—first communicated to officials in Bhopal—sent security agencies into high gear as the 12192 Jabalpur–Hazrat Nizamuddin Shridham Express made its way toward the national capital.
The train, which departed from Jabalpur, was halted at multiple stations en route for precautionary checks. However, the most extensive search unfolded at Mathura Junction, where the train arrived at platform number two at 10.02 am.
