LAS CRUCES, N.M. —
One person is dead, and three other people were injured after a shooting Saturday night in Las Cruces.
According to a Las Cruces police spokesperson, the shooting occurred during a house party on the 2400 block of Bugatti Drive around 11:45 p.m. Saturday. Officers found a 21-year-old man who had suffered at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three other victims were taken to local hospitals. There is no word on the condition of those victims.
Police said a 16-year-old was arrested in connection with the house party shooting. He was arrested around 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18. The suspect is charged with one count of murder and three counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
