The Kansas City Chiefs have owned the AFC West for the last decade. Kansas City entered the 2025 season with a goal of winning a 10 th consecutive division title. The Chiefs need to start rolling soon, though, or we may have new division champion for the first time since 2015.

As we ready for Week 10, Kansas City is in third place in the AFC West and is on the AFC playoff bubble at 5-4. Meanwhile, the Denver Broncos are off to an 8-2 start for the first time, since that 2015 season. Denver was the last team to win the division other than Kansas City.

The Broncos are on a seven-game winning streak as they ready for a major home clash with the Chiefs in Week 11. A win over Kansas City would put them in firmer control of the division on the road to the postseason. It would also mark the B
