The bodies of a forest official’s wife and their two children, who were reported missing since November 6, were found buried in Bhavnagar on Sunday.
Police said they started the process to register a murder case in which the forest official is a prime suspect.
The incident has been reported from Bharatnagar Police Station of Bhavnagar.
According to police, the forest official has been identified as Shailesh Khambhla who is posted as Assistant Conservation of Forest in Bhavnagar. Khambhla had on November 7 filed a missing persons complaint with Bharatnagar police station regarding his wife Nayana (42), 13-year-old daughter and nine-year-old son.
Bhavnagar district Superintendent of Police Nitesh Pandey said that the family members of Khambhla were living in Surat and had come to Bhavn
