PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers safety Jalen Ramsey has been ejected from the game after throwing a punch at Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase .
The punch followed up the play before, where on a run play, Ramsey and Chase got into it after the play. Chase grabbed Ramsey’s facemark and he retaliated by doing the same to Chase.
The Bengals came out for a dummy fourth-down call and them used a timeout, but during the timeout, Ramsey and Chase were talking to one another. At one point, Ramsey grabs Chase’s facemask and then threw a punch. The referees in such ejected him. It is unclear what caused Ramsey to escalate the play and then throw the punch.
