EAST POINT, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A large number of residents in East Point experienced a power outage following a crash early Sunday morning.

According to city officials, the outage started at 1:44 a.m., with about 1,902 customers being affected.

Crews were able to get power restored around 8:45 a.m. City officials apologized for any inconvenience the power outage may have caused.

No word has been given about any possible injuries.
