ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Fathers tested their parenting skills at the “Babypalooza” baby expo in Atlanta Saturday, where new families and expectant parents gathered for competition and education.
The event was part of the launch of a new curriculum for “4Kira4Dads,” which is part of the Paternal Centers of Excellence. The program gives tools and training to fathers to help mothers and babies.
“We have, over here, ways for dads to get educated. He’s going to be changing diapers, learning how to take care of mom, see the warning signs of postpartum depression. So dads are very involved this day and age, they get to go booth to booth and learn that kind of information,” baby expo director Cecilia Pearson said.
