COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle Saturday night in west Columbus, according to a public safety dispatcher for the city.
Officers with the Columbus Division of Police were called around 5:55 p.m. to the 2500 block of Hilliard Rome Road on a report of a pedestrian struck.
The victim was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital in "critical" but "non-life-threatening" condition, according to the dispatcher.
It is unclear whether the vehicle stayed at the scene.
No additional details about the incident were immediately available.
The incident remains under investigation.
