The Duluth Fire Department said it responded to a report of a structure fire at the Canadian National Railway ore docks, on the 200 block of 37th Avenue West, just before noon Sunday.
Upon arrival, crews found that a maintenance shed on an ore dock was "fully involved in fire," the fire department said.
The shed is approximately halfway out on the nearly half-mile-long Dock 6, an active facility used to load ships with taconite pellets.

Canadian National did not respond to the News Tribune's requests for comment Sunday.
The fire department said Canadian National staff helped secure a water source, and a fire
