Former Liberal staffer Bruce Lehrmann has been granted an unredacted copy of a forensic download from the phone of the woman he is alleged to have raped.

Mr Lehrmann faces two charges of rape, alleged to have occurred in Toowoomba, west of Brisbane, in October 2021.

He has not yet been required to enter a plea in relation to the rape charges, but has indicated he will plead not guilty.

The case was mentioned in the Ipswich District Court on Monday morning, where his lawyer Zali Burrows told the court that Judge Craig Chowdhury had made the judgement last Friday after the initial application was made in September.

"Where we are at at this stage is waiting on the Crown to provide us a copy of the Cellebrite report with redactions removed as ordered by his honour," Ms Burrows said.
