The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said Owens was one of two people who died in a head-on collision early Monday morning on U.S. 82 in Chilton County. The crash occurred near the 99 mile marker, approximately two miles west of Maplesville.
Owens and Justin Carlee of Maplesville collided head-on and both died at the scene, according to ALEA.
