MINNEAPOLIS — The Minneapolis Fire Department is investigating after a fire heavily damaged an auto repair shop in the city.
Crews were sent to the Smart Car Care located at 2610 Lowry Ave. N just before 7 p.m. and found the building fully engulfed in fire, according to a release.
All of the shop's workers were able to evacuate safely, the MFD said.
The fire department reported using foam to extinguish a fire that was fueled by gasoline.
