Donald Trump likes to think of himself as unstoppable . He certainly doesn’t tolerate disagreement or obstacles. He sees the job of the Supreme Court as being to approve his decisions, and Congress’s job, if it has one, is to give him what he wants.
Trump likes to portray himself as a strongman, who gets what he wants and delivers his agenda – and in the first months of his second term, that has seemed to be the case. He has run roughshod over the Constitution, sent troops into his own cities, all but scrapped foreign aid and launched criminal investigations into his political opponents.
