Efforts related to three proposed mixed-use projects, including one involving the former Starwood Amphitheatre site, have taken a step forward.

On Thursday, the Metro Planning Commission approved rezoning requests for each of the three. The approval was done via the consent agenda, with each rezoning request being OK’d with a 6-0 vote.
According to a planning department document, and as the Post recently reported (read here ), an entity affiliated with New York-based investment management giant Blackstone Inc. sought an amendment to the specific plan zoning in place for the ex-Starwood site.
