SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - The Lincoln Home National Historic Site in Springfield is back open following the government shutdown.
The site sees more than 10,000 people visit per month.
Leaders say, even though admission is free, there is still an economic impact for the county.
The Lincoln Home National Historic Site is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is located at 413 S. 8th St.
