SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCSC) - The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office is releasing the name of the man who died in a Saturday night shooting.
Kymeek T. Traylor, 20, of Summerville died at the scene from injuries he sustained in the shooting.
Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Cpl. Carli Carr responded to the incident at the 500 block of Myers Road near Myers Market. Coroner Darnell Hartwell said his office was notified of the shooting just before 9:40 p.m.
It is unclear what led up to the shooting.
Hartwell says this remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office and the coroner’s office.
