SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCSC) - A man has been arrested in connection to the deadly shooting of a man at a Summerville store.
Harrison Charles Townsend, 18, is charged with murder.
Kymeek T. Traylor, 20, of Summerville died at the scene of the shooting Saturday night from injuries he sustained during the incident.
Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Cpl. Carli Carr responded to the incident at the 500 block of Myers Road near Myers Market. Coroner Darnell Hartwell said his office was notified of the shooting just before 9:40 p.m.
It is unclear what led up to the shooting.
Hartwell says this remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office and the coroner’s office.
Townsend was booked into the Hill-Finklea Detention Center. His mugshot is not yet available.
