ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WCSC/WIS) - The chief of the Orangeburg Department of Public Safety says one person has been charged in connection with shots fired at an Orangeburg grocery store Friday afternoon.
Tajari Laseon-Devario Riley, 21, surrendered himself to authorities Friday night on a charge of breach of peace of a high and aggravated nature in connection with firing a gun inside the Food Lion on Chestnut Street, Chief Charles Austin said at a Monday morning briefing on the incident.
A judge set bond for him at $25,000 on Saturday morning, Austin said.
No one was injured in the shooting but Austin said one shot was fired. A bullet lodged into the ceiling of the store, he said.
