A person has been rushed to hospital following a crash in Glasgow city centre. ‌

Emergency services, including Police Scotland and Scottish Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene on West Regent Street, near the junction with Wellington Street, at around 3.30pm on Monday, November 17. ‌

The collision, which took place just as the city was gearing up for rush hour, involved a vehicle and two pedestrians. One of the pedestrians was taken to hospital . Their age, the extent of their injuries, and current condition is not yet known. ‌

The other pedestrian was checked over by paramedics at the crash site. The road was reopened at around 4.30pm and enquiries are ongoing to find out exactly what happened.
