Pennsylvania State Police say the body of a man was found Saturday in a Bucks County canal.

The Bucks County Coroner’s Office has identified the deceased as Robert Kowalski, no age provided. An autopsy is scheduled for later Monday.

The Troop M Trevose Criminal Investigation Unit was called to the 8000 block of Woodside Drive in Falls Township. A passerby discovered the deceased man in ankle-deep water while walking along a canal path, Trooper Nathan Branosky, public information officer with Pennsylvania State Police’s Troop M, said.

There was no identification on Kowalski at the time of the discovery, he said.
