LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Nebraska Liquor Control Commission once again has full representation after sitting nearly two months with two vacant seats.
Gov. Jim Pillen on Monday appointed Robert “Bud” Synhorst and James Elworth to serve as commissioners for the 1st and 3rd Congressional Districts. The previous commissioners resigned Sept. 29 at the governor’s request.
The three-member commission is required to include one representative from each of Nebraska’s congressional districts, and all appointments must be confirmed by the Legislature.
