The Barrington High School football team fumbled away an early scoring chance, fell behind 14-0, and never recovered in a 42-21 playoff loss to Central High School on Friday night, Nov. 14.

The Eagles’ defense, led by senior Henry McClelland and AJ Caldarella and sophomores Cole Fluet and Zach Borges, kept Central out of the end zone for the first quarter. About mid-way through the second quarter, Barrington forced the Knights to punt.

Barrington High School senior Henry Stockwell caught the punt in stride at his own 40, made a Knights player miss and then darted down the sideline. Stockwell picked up a key block from John Reynolds, and side-stepped another Knight before getting tackled at the Central six-yard line.
