CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The NFL is suspending Ja’Marr Chase for one game for spitting on Jalen Ramsey during Sunday’s game in Pittsburgh, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

The NFL launched an investigation into Chase’s actions after FOX19 NOW posted video of the second in-game altercation between Chase and Ramsey.

The league determined the video showed enough evidence to warrant a one-game suspension, ESPN’s Adam Schefter said.

The Bengals’ All-Pro denied spitting on Ramsey after the game.

Chase is appealing the suspension, NFL insider Jordan Schultz reports.

Chase’s suspension is in line with a similar case from earlier this season.
