TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - The Salvation Army Tucson is asking for the public’s help to provide Thanksgiving meals for those who need it.

The Salvation Army is looking for donations and says the most needed items include:

Turkeys (frozen or thawed)

Canned vegetables, yams, broth, and other pantry staples

Frozen vegetables

Stuffing mix, powdered potatoes, and rolls

Pre-cooked store-bought pies

Juices, milk, coffee, and coffee creamer

Donations can be brought to the Salvation Army Tucson Hospitality House Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at 1002 N. Main Ave.

The Salvation Army’s Thanksgiving Community Meal will be held Thursday, November 27, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Hospitality House.
