LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - It is Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week at Jefferson County Technical and Community College, and officials at the school want to make sure students in need know about the resources available.

The HUB on campus provides critical support for students facing food insecurity, housing instability, and other challenges.

It has food pantry, clothing closet and offers well-being workshops.

A recent survey found about two in every ten JCTC students experience food insecurity, while one-in-10 faces housing insecurity

Last year, more than 2,400 students received help.

The HUB also provides assistance to students who may need help on their monthly bills.
