‌Donald Trump has addressed his recent MRI scan live on Fox News in a breaking alert which saw the programme come to a halt as the US president answered some questions about his health. ‌

Live on Air Force One, Trump, 79, was confronted by journalists, one of whom quizzed him on his recent physical health exam - which included an MRI scan. She questioned: "As to why you needed to get an MRI, I understand that the results are good, but what was it for?" ‌

Trump appeared desperate to quickly shut down the line of enquiry as he replied: "Because it was part of my physical. Getting an MRI is very standard. What, you think I shouldn’t have it? I had an MRI.
