There's a major police presence at a McDonald's tonight with customers reportedly being turned away. ‌

Eye witnesses say they have seen multiple emergency vehicles at the scene of the ongoing incident. ‌

Around 10 marked cars and two ambulances have been spotted at the fast food restaurant in Staffordshire. ‌

Eye witnesses also say that the drive-thru of the fast food branch is closed off at the Stafford Trade Centre, off Eccleshall Road in Stafford, StokeonTrentLive reports.

One StokeonTrentLive reader said: "Something has happened at McDonald's in Stafford. There's at least 10 police cars and two ambulances. The windows have been taped up and there's no entry. ‌

"The police are turning people away. It's obviously something serious."
