ARKANSAS, USA — Samaritan’s Purse kicked off its annual Operation Christmas Child collection Monday, Nov. 17, urging families across the region to fill shoeboxes with small gifts that will be sent to children around the world.
The organization says the project offers a simple but meaningful way for people of all ages to give back during the holiday season.
Participants are encouraged to pack shoeboxes with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items. According to Samaritan’s Purse, many of the children who receive these boxes have never been given a gift before.
