LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
An exit ramp coming off the Kennedy Bridge into Louisville will be closed for the next month so crews can make repairs.
Starting Tuesday, the Interstate 65 South to Interstate 64 West ramp will be temporarily closed. Officials say this is part of the expansion joint replacement project on the Kennedy Memorial Bridge.

The closure will go into effect at 9 a.m. Tuesday and remain in place through Monday, Dec. 15.
"The ramp closure is necessary as crews continue work on the southernmost expansion joint on the right side of the bridge and to prepare for the next phase of construction," KYTC said in a statement.
Here is the recommended detour for drivers: Continue on I-65 South to I-264 West and reconnect with I-64.
