A "frustrated" runner has been forced to give up jogging - as she's so allergic to water that even her own sweat triggers rashes. Erin Cassidy first started "breaking out" during swimming at school 10 years ago before experiencing painful and itchy rashes every time she washed or did exercise. The 24-year-old visited a doctor who she says told her it was a reaction to the 'harsh water' and to take antihistamine. After 10 years of being branded 'ridiculous' for suspecting she had a water allergy it was a 'big relief' to finally be told she was allergic to the contact of water in September last year.
