A 22-year-old Dauphin County man was charged with sexually abusing a girl in Lancaster County earlier this year, police said in court documents.

Evan Gusherowski, of Hummelstown, was arrested on Nov. 14 and charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child (under the age of 13), involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 16 years old, rape of a child, and other related offenses, according to charging documents filed by Ephrata police.

The girl reported she met Gusherowski through Snapchat, and he told the girl that he was 16 years old, the affidavit said.

Police said Gusherowski sneaked into her Ephrata Township home several times during a period from March to June and sexually assaulted her, according to charging documents.
