LAS VEGAS – The Las Vegas Raiders honored Marshawn Kneeland with a moment of silence prior to their Nov. 17 Week 11 "Monday Night Football" game against the Dallas Cowboys.

The moment of silence was accompanied by a picture of Kneeland on both jumbotrons at Allegiant Stadium.

Kneeland, 24, died by suicide overnight Nov. 5-6 in Frisco, Texas.

Teams around the NFL paid tribute to Kneeland during Week 10 by holding moments of silence before kickoff. The Cowboys were on a bye week.

Monday is the first time the Cowboys have played a regular-season game since Kneeland’s death. Several Cowboys admitted it was an emotional week as they mourned Kneeland in addition to preparing to play football.

“My heart is heavy. Our team’s heart is heavy. We don’t move on, but we do move forward,” Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer said on Nov. 12.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas that he was "devastated" when he first found out of Kneeland's death and he hopes Monday's game is “therapeutic” for the players.

The Cowboys sported custom Kneeland t-shirts during pregame warmups to pay tribute to him. Cowboys staff members wore pins with Kneeland's 94 number. The team will wear a special helmet decal for the rest of the season to honor Kneeland. The Cowboys also started a “Marshawn Kneeland Memorial Fund” in part to help Kneeland’s girlfriend, Catalina, who is pregnant.
