JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. —
A wildfire in Jefferson County has been contained.
The Alabama Forestry Commission (AFC) said their crews were called to Shady Grove Road in the Fultondale area Monday at 3:30 p.m.
The AFC said the wildfire was three acres and their crews had surrounded the fire with fire breaks to allow the fire to burn itself out.
No structures were endangered and no injuries were reported.
