VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — One of the most heartwarming traditions of the holiday season is back this year, as 13News Now teams up with the Salvation Army to make sure every child feels the magic of Christmas.

Today, Marta Berglund introduces you to Ter'Reona Holloman who's getting help to make her children's holiday dreams come true.

“I was going through some things, domestic violence, and then, where I was living, with the things going on in the community, my home was getting shot up,” Holloman said.

“So I was just, one night, like, I had to do something about it. So I was researching and I came across The Pathway of Hope.”

Holloman said she knew she had to leave her living situation, which was unsafe for herself and her children, and start over.
