A day ahead of the much-awaited Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS) 2025, the Karnataka government on Monday, November 17, unveiled KEO, a locally developed, ultra-affordable AI computer positioned as India's first AI PC.

KEO, short for Knowledge-driven, Economical, Open-source, is a compact, AI-ready personal computer designed and built entirely in Karnataka to help bridge the digital access gap.

The state government says the device is aimed at making intelligent computing accessible at the grassroots and empowering citizens across districts.
