(KIMT News 3)--Local fans received disappointing news as hometown favorite Cori Kennedy was eliminated from NBC's "The Voice" during the knockout round on Monday night.
Kennedy, a West Concord native and Kasson-Mantorville graduate, expressed gratitude to her supporters. "The experience has been incredible and I felt supported every step of the way," Kennedy said. She described the love from fans as "overwhelming."
She mentioned she would share more about her journey once she had time to reflect. Kennedy also encouraged viewers to congratulate her knockout partner, Aaron Nichols, on his performance.
