Juke Harris (Salisbury)
Staff report
WINSTON-SALEM — Sophomore Juke Harris (Salisbury) has logged 18, 29, 19 and 21 points in Wake Forest’s first four basketball games for a scoring average of 21.8 points per game.
Harris ranks fourth in the ACC in scoring. He’s 10th in the league in shooting percentage (57.7), as he’s been getting to the rim a lot.
He’s shooting a respectable 35 percent on 3-pointers and is shooting 74.1 percent from the foul line. That’s key for him, as he should shoot a lot of free throws. He shot just 59.5 percent on free throws last season.
The 6-foot-7 Harris is in the top 20 in the conference in rebounding, with 7.0 per game.
Wake Forest (3-1) returns to action on Nov. 20 against 15th-ranked Texas Tech. That game will be televised by the CBS Sports Network at
