INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after two people were shot on Indianapolis' west side on Monday.
Around 6 p.m. Nov. 17, officers were called to Eskenazi Hospital for a report of a walk-in person shot.
There they located two gunshot victims, who were both described by a department spokesperson as "awake and breathing."
The spokesperson said a preliminary investigation indicates the shooting happened in the 5100 block of Mecca Street , near South Lynhurst Drive and South Minnesota Street.
No additional information on the circumstances of the shooting was immediately available.
