Light rain is in the forecast for parts of New Jersey late Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning, with some northern areas potentially seeing a mix of rain and wet snow.
The precipitation is expected to develop after midnight Tuesday and continue into Wednesday morning before quickly moving offshore, the National Weather Service said.
The system will be weak and fast-moving, with most areas receiving less than one-tenth of an inch of rainfall.
Southern New Jersey and the Jersey Shore have the best chance of seeing light rain. Most of northern New Jersey could remain dry, the weather service said.
