SAINT PAUL, Minn. — William Davis Schulenberg has been sentenced to 91 months in prison for attacking a St. Olaf student with a knife and hammer amd injuring three others who intervened.

The Minnesota Attorney General's Office says on May 1, 2022, Schulenberg entered a dorm party at St. Olaf University through a window and attacked a young woman. Investigators reported that Schulenberg repeatedly struck the victim's head and was pressing the knife into her neck when three individuals stepped in.

During the struggle, Schulenberg hit two of the rescuers with his hammer and cut another with his knife before they subdued him.
