GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Fans of the West Michigan Whitecaps can expect new and upgraded seating in time for the 2026 season.

The team recently announced its home field of LMCU Ballpark is set to debut a new drink rail seating section, which will replace the former bleacher section of 125 along the third base line.

LMCU Ballpark is located at 4500 West River Drive in Comstock Park, a suburb of Grand Rapids.

The ballpark also is upgrading all remaining reserved sections from traditional bleacher-style benches to individual box seat chairs. This transformation will complete the multiyear process of replacing the original stadium seating with more comfortable, modernized options.
