On a Thursday afternoon in August, two 3D-printed ghost guns and 20 rounds of ammunition were purchased for $1,300 in a Dorchester Stop & Shop parking lot as grocery shoppers bought milk, eggs and ingredients for dinner.
In September, more guns were sold by the same person, according to court documents, including four guns purchased for $2,760 and four machine guns for $5,600 sold at a Shell gas station.
Now, Joshua Morency, 28, is being charged with one count of dealing in firearms without a license and one count of possessing a machine gun. Morency was arrested on Nov. 12 and was ordered detained pending a hearing scheduled for Wednesday.
