LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - The holiday season officially kicks off in Downtown Lansing Friday night with the 41st annual Silver Bells in the City, drawing big crowds for the parade, tree lighting, drone show and other festivities.
From parking and road closures to entertainment and a schedule of events, we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know about this year’s celebration.
Silver Bells Village
Located on Allegan Street near the State Capitol, the Silver Bells Village opens at 5 p.m. and closes at 9 p.m. The village is a holiday shopping destination with more than 30 vendors selling gifts, as well as nine food trucks with a variety of refreshments and even special commemorative Silver Bells ornaments.
