Two people were found dead from gunshot wounds inside a Shandaken home on the night of November 11, in what authorities believe was a murder-suicide.
New York State Police from the Kingston barracks responded around 7:29 p.m. to a report of two unresponsive individuals at a residence on Highview Road.
Inside the home, troopers and officers from the town of Shandaken police department discovered a 68-year-old woman, later identified as Deborah A. Warren of Phoenicia, deceased in a bedroom from a gunshot wound. Also found in the same room was 69-year-old Mark P. Braman, also of Phoenicia, who appeared to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The investigation is ongoing, with assistance from the Shandaken Police Department. Authorities have confirmed there is no threat to public
