Free to Thrift announced on social media it was opening Wednesday, Nov. 18 at its new midtown Kingston location at 105 Smith Avenue.
Unlike many other thrift stores, Free to Thrift is dedicated to keeping prices low, with a number of items offered for free. Owner Christina Kravig also donates a portion of her profits to charity, with $40,000 raised in 2024 alone .
Inventory-wise, you’ll find all the thrift store staples like clothes, accessories, home goods, toys, and games — it’s the careful curation and organization that customers especially appreciate, as Kravig and her team have a keen eye for unique and sought-after items.
