Former Michigan State guard and team co-captain Tre Holloman is only four games into his basketball life away from the Spartans and he’s already making plenty of noise with the NC State Wolfpack.

After being ejected in a game against UNC Greensboro last week before taking a single shot, Holloman returned with a spark for NC State on Monday, scoring a career-high 25 points on 12 shots with four rebounds.

He was the driving force behind the victory for NC State over VCU, after transferring into the program for his senior season. He spent his first three seasons with Michigan State, playing in 106 games and making 18 starts.

After the game, he took to social media to compliment his new coach, Will Wade. But his comments certainly seemed directed at MSU coach Tom Izzo.
