SARASOTA, Fla. ( WWSB ) - The Salvation Army of Sarasota County has launched its annual Red Kettle Campaign, the organization’s largest fundraiser that supports both holiday programs and year-round community services.

Kelly Granahan , Director of Development, and Brenda Downing , Director of Operations, said all donations collected in the red kettles stay within Sarasota County to help residents.

“Every dime, every dollar that gets dropped in those kettles are not only to support all of the holiday programs, but really support all of the programs and services we offer year-round,” Granahan said.
