Police have released CCTV images and asked for the public's help in locating four young people who allegedly confronted another group in Nottingham's city centre on Sunday

Police have launched a hunt for a group of masked youths after machetes were brandished in front of people near Winter Wonderland in Nottingham.

Four young people, two of whom had knives, allegedly confronted another group who were on foot outside the Council House in Old Market Square, Nottinghamshire Police have said. Officers arrived at the scene shortly after being called at 6.15pm on Sunday.

The force said no injuries were reported and several people were searched but all the suspects had left the area. CCTV images have now been released as police ask for the public's help to find those responsible. READ MO
