A man was taken to the hospital and placed on a ventilator last weekend after he was knocked out in an attack against him and his wife by a man outside a downtown Harrisburg bar , according to an affidavit of probable cause.

It was the second apparently unprovoked attack reported over the weekend and at least the third since July.

In the most recent incident, police were sent before 2 a.m. Nov. 15 to the 200 block of Pine Street, where they found a man unconscious on the ground.

An officer spoke with the victim’s wife who said a man punched her in the back of the head before hitting her husband, knocking him to the ground.

Through video surveillance footage and the ID scanner at Nocturnal, a Harrisburg nightclub and bar, investigators say they identified the attacker as Isaiah Hall,
